Kitchen Extension in Bolton

The Builders Alliance team have completed a Single storey extension in Bolton, to accommodate a bespoke kitchen requested by one of our clients. Our skilled time served tradesmen have created this beautiful space for the client all in a matter of weeks, with plenty of attention to detail and professionalism throughout the whole project. In this case, our client just wanted a bigger space to cook and a completely new feel to the heart of their home. We worked alongside their architect to grasp the full design idea and complete every aspect of their plan.

Phase One of Bolton Kitchen Extension

The builders Alliance team firstly prepared all the groundworks for the foundations on the extension, digging down till our team hit the solid ground ready for the concrete to be poured into the area. This assured our Single storey extension had a solid base to sit on. Our skilled bricklayers then started to build the External brickwork and blockwork, bonding into the old brickwork on our clients home.

Phase Two of Bolton Kitchen Extension

The next step was to install the pitched roof onto the Extension making it watertight. This comprised of fitting the new roof joists, pattern, felt and roof tiles. As this process was undertaken our client's requested Velux windows to bring more natural lighting into the new space. Also, this was when all our first fix joinery was required for example doors, windows and frames.

Phase Three of Bolton Kitchen Extension

Once phase Two was complete, the new room then had all its Services installed i.e Gas pipes, plumbing and Electrical fixings. Then the Kitchen was then ready for the walls to be drylined and plastered to actually look like part of the house. This was completed in a matter of days and brought this whole project together.

Phase Four of Bolton Kitchen Extension

As you can see from the picture to your left, our team installed a bespoke centred island for this kitchen and modern style cupboards, which was personally selected by our clients from a local kitchen supplier.

Phase Five of Bolton Kitchen Extension

This is the completed project with all the building and skilled work finished. Once we had completed installing all the new cupboards and base units is was then down to the client to add their own finishing touches to their new kitchen.
